Huron Rowing had an impressive performance at the Midwest Championship at Kensington last weekend, competing against 59 teams from seven states over two days of racing. After entering 13 preliminary races on Saturday, Huron advanced 11 boats to the finals on Sunday.

The women’s V4+ crew earned a silver medal with a second-place finish, while the men’s Jr4 placed fourth, finishing just one second away from the podium. Following the strong weekend, the women’s team has qualified for Nationals over Memorial Day weekend, and the men are still in contention for an at-large bid.
